Village Peddler of Sinking Spring, under the creative ownership of Genie and Bob Barlow since June 8, 2012, has made an incredible amount of friends and loyal followers. Through our now closed location at 3809 Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring, we successfully operated a 12 room, 3,000 sq. ft., 1800's farmhouse chuck full of antiques until our closing on December 15th, 2015. With the declining of the antique market over the years, we decided to close the doors on that Chapter (and that location), and have evolved to open this new Chapter of Village Peddler.
Bob, who was a master carpenter his whole life, and Genie who used to build, refinish, and paint furniture, are now offering custom-made reclaimed wood and barn wood farm tables and islands and also industrial tables and islands. We also offer custom-made primitive furniture including bookcases, headboards, coffee tables, hall and sofa tables, industrial wood and corrugated roofing accents. All reclaimed wood items can made to your specifications - any height, width or length - painted, stained or any combination.
Also available: I (Genie) will hire myself out to be able to help anyone going through a transition in their lives – be it downsizing of your own castle, or dissolving your parent’s home’s treasures, to advise you of what to keep, what to send to auction, what to sell, OR JUST THROW AWAY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!, lol.
